The Paradip Port Authority on March 28, 2026, notified regarding the Execution of transactions in EBS.
The following has been stated:
• The POS module of the EBS system became operational on December 24, 2025, with all transactions being processed through it from January 01, 2026. However, it has been observed that some stakeholders are not completing key transactions such as import/export applications, LEO, VCN linking, and surveys, leading to data discrepancies and incorrect invoice generation.
• Additionally, errors like selecting the wrong cargo or service type (e.g., misclassifying Ammonium Nitrate) are causing incorrect charges.
• Therefore, port users are advised to ensure all transactions are completed accurately and timely with correct details to avoid billing issues and delays.
